The Compliance Post Investigation Analyst is responsible for all post investigation administrative duties to include but not limited to reviewing AML Investigations and Suspicious Activity Reports (“SAR”) for accuracy and appropriate documentation, tracking the end-to-end workflow for the AML account closure recommendation process in accordance with the Global Account Closure Standard.
What you’ll do
Create account closure case, document recommendation, liaise with Business and track to completion.
Review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for accuracy before submission to NCA. Log SAR details on the Global SAR tracker
Manage the process of adding / deleting Red Flag entries for UK FIU, manage the Red Flag mailbox and respond to inquiries about RF hits.
Complete and send Senior Management Notification when required.
Follow-up with additional Point(s) of Contact (POC) as needed to identify additional information in support of the Senior Management Notification.
Complete and send International referrals to relevant country ALMCO as required.
Create Ad hoc consent cases, liaise with business to track responses and complete DAML SAR when required.
Ensure all investigations have appropriate evidence to support the case as per Investigations Standard and Quality Assurance policies.
Liaise with other FIU units, Advisory, Business Compliance teams, CSIS, FIU Legal, GFCII, and AML Legal
What we’ll need from you
Experience of active involvement in Business Projects, including providing summaries / updates to project leads
Basic Knowledge of AML regulations preferred
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Bachelor’s/Universitydegree or equivalent experience preferred but working track record will be taken into account.

Qualifications:
6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
6 - 10 years experience with JIRA, Confluence & Agile
Education:

Disclosures & Disclaimer Management
Support the development of a framework for the ongoing management of client disclosures and disclaimers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement corrective action steps related to the structured communications project to address identified gaps
Collaborate across multiple stakeholders in Markets and across the Clusters to ensure consistent and effective client communication strategies.
Risk Assessment
Evaluate existing Customer Protection & Market Practices- related policies and procedures, identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements to align with current control frameworks.
Executing improvements in the risk assessment framework with a data driven approach to reach the target state.
Conduct deep-dive analyses of emerging risks and control gaps within market practices and customer protection, proposing innovative solutions to mitigate these risks.
Participate in Continuous Risk Monitoring and support Annual Risk Assessment requirements
Governance
Present to senior management, providing regular updates on key risk indicators and control effectiveness
Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to Customer Protection & Market Practices risk management as assigned by senior management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices, ensuring Customer Protection & Market Practices Risk activities remain compliant.
What we’ll need from you
Experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a focus on market practices or customer protection.
Demonstrate an understanding of risk and control principles, including risk assessments, controls design assessments, controls operating effectiveness, and reporting activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key trends and patterns.
Good communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong work ethic, personal initiative, and a high degree of professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
