- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance critical data and AI initiatives.
- Build process, organization, and tracking around this work.
- Learn and provide practical guidance on global laws and evolving AI and data regulation, collaborating with privacy, intellectual property, and other specialists.
- Develop and implement strategies and policies as well as playbooks, guidelines, and resource materials for use across the company.
- Support and facilitate training for various teams on legal risks and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications- Juris Doctor with 3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Exposure and familiarity with high-tech, data handling, and AI-related regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment and advocate for balanced legal risks to support business goals.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal issues.
Preferred Qualifications:- A proactive approach to learning and adapting to evolving legal landscapes in AI and data.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist in various capacities as needed.
- Customer and client-centric approach, demonstrating respect and a positive attitude under all circumstances.
- Experience in content and website development is advantageous.
- Industry knowledge of standard processes around data and AI risk management.
