Process Overview:
Enterprise TI is engaged in over 800+ applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMT’s type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. Enterprise TI India team provides extensive support & deployment of these applications by adapting the ITIL processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage Application and Platform support activities.
- Experience with tuning system for performance improvements.
- Support during platform migrations, new functionality implementations.
- Supports best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines.
- Be a key contributor to initiatives that require technical expertise.
Requirements:
Education:B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/MCA
Experience Range: 6to 8 years
Foundational skills:
- Experience in Teradata SQL
- Experience in PySpark, Hive, Hadoop.
- Experience in Mainframe JCL (JCL, COBOL) – creation, review, analysis of scripts
- Understanding and experience in Teradata Architecture
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
Desired skills:
- Experience in Mainframe Cobol – creation, review, analysis of scripts
- ETL experience
- Teradata Certification
- Business knowledge/understanding, as well as technical knowledge. Approximately a 40% (business) 60% (technical) split
- Technical/strategic architecture interface with the business partners
- Develops guidelines for standards to follow
- Understand and meet the standards required by the Production Application owners and Business Partners
- Presentation skills
