Job Responsibilities:
• Manages all procedures, job aids, and process flows to ensure alignment with current processes across the Data Privacy Office.
• Executes routine evergreen process of all program documents. Leads the execution of our Change Management process across the Data Privacy Office
• Completes control self-assessments across the Privacy Office.
• Identifies and executes process improvements within the DPO process.
• Supports ad hoc processes, which includes but is not limited to addressing escalations, approving downgrades, backing up Operations oversight lead process. Ad hoc projects and backup for other operational supporting roles.
• Reviews of controls and reconciliations for completeness, accuracy, and effectiveness monthly.
• Coordinates and implements new controls to support an everchanging environment. Participates actively in planning and executing audit activities.
• Ensures timely escalation of key risks and issues to management and interested stakeholders.
• Represents DPO on various governance, legal, and controls forums.
• Develops and maintains key contacts and working relationships with various areas within the Firm and with vendors.
• Interacts with key stakeholders such as Global Data Risk Management, Privacy Legal, Privacy Compliance, Global Security, Fraud Units and LOB Privacy Champions.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact the organization. This includes the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Curiosity and Learning: A proactive approach to staying updated with the latest analytical techniques, tools, and industry trends.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in analyzing data and ensuring accuracy in reports and findings.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, process, and analyze data to identify workflow decisions, trends, patterns, and insights. Critical Thinking: Capacity to evaluate information critically, question assumptions, and make logical conclusions based on data. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, develop hypotheses, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data privacy tools and software, such as Excel, Word, Privacy Applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and SharePoint.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of the privacy industry and business context to provide relevant and actionable insights.
• Research Skills: Ability to gather information from various sources and synthesize it to support analysis and decision-making.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management to gather data requirements and deliver insights. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to plan, organize, and schedule resources.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment and is capable of navigating in dynamic and complex organizational environments.
• Leadership: Driven independent leader with the ability to discern when to escalate appropriately. Stakeholder Communication: Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights to managers/stakeholders through proposed solutions.
Must meet minimum employment tenure requirement. Specific roles require longer tenure in current position to be eligible to apply. Unless established for specific positions by the line of business, the standard tenure requirement is 12 months.
