Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of EPM solutions across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures for modern EPM systems.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and measurable impact.
- Serve as a technical lead on EPM projects, developing models, integrations, and custom functionalities.
- Guide junior developers and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations.
- Support the development and configuration of EPM solutions, including system setup, testing, documentation, and user support.
- Learn and grow within a dynamic team focused on financial performance technologies.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong understanding of EPM platforms and financial planning processes (e.g., FP&A, HR planning, CapEx).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with data modeling, scripting, and system integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you’ll also
- Relevant certifications as a solution architect in one or more of the EPM systems EY Canada implements.
- Experience integrating EPM platforms with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with planning processes such as G&A Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Expense Planning, and Project Planning.
- Exposure to pre-sales activities, including solution demos and proposal development.
