What You’ll Do:
Maintain, improve, and add features to a large and mature code base written in Java, developing your autonomy and creativity.
Design and iterate on solutions to real world user problems.
Produce quality code by writing automated tests and participating in peer code review.
Mitigate and document cybersecurity risks.
Learn about the medical industry as needed.
Interact directly with user-facing staff to define input requirements and see the impact of your work.
Investigate bug reports from end users and provide user-facing teams with software solutions.
Communicate with the team regularly to coordinate on projects, overcome roadblocks, and celebrate successes.
Work with your manager to personalize your growth path.
Contribute meaningfully to MIM's overall mission of improving patient care.
What You’ll Need:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, plus two years of industry experience (preferably in Java).
In lieu of a degree, you must have a minimum of four years of direct industry experience in Java.
Knowledge of object-oriented principles and the data structures that support them.
General problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical thinking.
Communication and organization skills.
An appetite for continued learning of both technical and interpersonal skills. A preexisting understanding of medical imaging is not required.
