This position is ideal for an individual with strong leadership skills, to join the Global Clinical Education organization, to lead the Global Digital Education team. In this role you will provide a global digital strategy, along with partnering with regional, clinical education specialists, and IT. You’ll deliver educational pathways for customer facing clinical and product education. This role is vital in supporting our providers and their staff with best in class clinical education on why Align is the leader in clear aligner therapy, treatment planning, and intra-oral scanning.

Role expectations
  • Establish strategy and lead the administration and optimization of the global Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless user experience, system reliability, and alignment with clinical education goals.
  • Serve as the global digital education owner, translating business needs into scalable digital solutions through detailed project planning, stakeholder alignment, and agile execution.
  • Design and implement API integrations and technical enhancements to support automation, data flow, and interoperability between LMS and other enterprise systems.
  • Lead your team of LMS admins and collaborate cross-functionally with regional LMS admins, clinical education specialists, and IT teams to develop and deliver high-impact educational content and pathways.
  • Manage digital education projects from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, timeline development, resource coordination, testing, and post-launch support.
  • Ensure content governance and compliance, maintaining standards for branding, accessibility, localization, and clinical accuracy across all digital education assets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and user feedback, using data-driven insights to continuously improve platform functionality, learner engagement, and educational outcomes.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience in digital learning or LMS administration will also be considered.
  • 6 + years of professional experience
  • 3 + years of experience with Docebo LMS
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and cross-functional project leadership, preferably within a global or matrixed organization.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis, with the ability to translate learning metrics into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical skills including API configuration, LMS customization, and system integrations; experience with Docebo LMS is highly preferred.
Communication & Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts and platform capabilities to non-technical stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations that align with business goals.
  • Foster strong partnerships across global teams, including Clinical Education, IT, enterprise systems teams to ensure alignment and consistency in digital education delivery.
Soft Skills:
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering high-quality digital learning experiences.
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on learner needs and business outcomes.
