Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality
Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with company safety regulations and department safety programs and all company policies and procedures
Work with employees to resolve complex equipment issues, root cause, countermeasure, and create scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce or eliminate reoccurrence
Provide a shift-to-shift communication summary to keep all team members working toward the same goals, priorities and expand communication to relevant audiences impacted or to bring awareness
Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance and audit data metrics to see where team can improve
Oversee equipment upgrades, repairs, and projects, coordinating with equipment spare parts team to ensure stock and communication with contracted external vendors for purchasing and onsite support activities
Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to achieve the metric targets such as equipment availability, mean-time to repair and response, align with production goals and maintain department records, manage attendance/schedules, payroll, people manage; administrate team-growth, organizational changes, employee correction, coaching and disciplinary actions
Degree in Management, Engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent preferred background considered would involve a minimum of five years in manufacturing maintenance (Industrial, Mechatronics Equipment) and machine operations experience with progressive responsibility or equivalent experience
Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred Mechatronics-Electrical and/or Controls Automation, Equipment Test experience environment of high-volume manufacturing
Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles preferred and project management skills and Lean Manufacturing experience
Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality, quantity, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work a day or night shift schedule, including weekday, weekends, and/or overtime; must be able to change schedule based on business needs given an advance notice is provided
Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must, familiarity with CMMS preferred
Troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics/diagram prints, able to troubleshoot and/or program programmable logic controller (PLC) experience for Allen Bradley or Siemens is preferred
