Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with our Private Bankers, Investment Counselors, and clients. The person who fills this roll must have knowledge of Investments including fixed income and excess reserve strategies. Specialist should has a solid understanding of investment policy statements and developing custom mandates for institutional clients. This person will be in constant contact with Citi Private Bank's Investments Teams as well as directly with our clients. Strong sales and product skills are required. In addition, a high degree of professionalism, passion for client service, and the ability to develop new business are essential.
  • The role will require teamwork and proactive leadership. This team member will be required to build deep relationships with their assigned region’s bankers, investment counselors, and clients. The role requires the individual to launch product campaigns, educating internal and external audiences. The individual will lead a sales effort in their region and support all ongoing sales efforts. The role requires the individual to be a deep expert in fixed income strategies and be able to position our offerings as well as handle account reviews to discuss current markets and views.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Work with internal parties to increase visibility and credibility to help increase pipeline.
  • Work closely with other specialists to ensure the team is in the best position
  • Manage existing client relationships and help drive new business acquistion

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Excellent sales skills - ability to demonstrate relevant solutions to clients and prospects
  • Knowledge of investment products
  • Attention to detail, proactive leadership, and strong follow-up skills
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to effectively deal with people at all levels - internal as well as clients, excellent interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
