Boston Scientific Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide guidance and development for their team to attain career goals, motivate individuals to achieve results, and recruit and maintain a high quality technician team within NSM.
  • Ensure policies and processes are followed.
  • Work with Engineering leadership to establish their team’s goals and objectives and plan for resourcing and hiring needs.
  • Maintain and enhance cross-functional team relationships.
  • Implement methods of connecting, engaging, and aligning their team members to each other and to the broader business unit.
  • Prioritize and manage execution of multiple problem solving efforts and daily tasks alongside their team.
  • Successfully complete manufacturing engineering project work as part of our Value Improvement Process (VIP), business continuity and capacity initiatives, and efficiency improvement objectives.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, or related experience
  • Experience in manufacturing problem solving, Process Change Analysis and production flow tools (i.e. LEAN manufacturing)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at various levels of the organization

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience with capital equipment maintenance and qualification
  • Understanding of quality systems and critical process controls
  • Ability to analyze, summarize, and present ideas concisely via visual communication methods (i.e. tables, graphs, Excel, Minitab, and PowerPoint)

Maximum Salary: $ 144400

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
