Within our Piping Department in the Italy office, we are looking for a Piping Stress Engineer. Main responsibilities include:
- Perform Piping Stress calculations in Caesar II from PCFs or Isometrics (provided by Piping Design team);
- Perform Piping Stress Calculations (Static and Modal) for several conditions, defining the relevant Load Cases (CAESAR II);
- Determine piping loads on structures, vessels, and equipment; create tables to transmit loads to related disciplines to incorporate into design;
- Perform analysis of nozzle loads for vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, etc. (Caesar II);
- Provide recommendations to improve pipe flexibility, including piping routing, and piping support position and typology;
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g. ASME B31.3, EN 13480, API);
- Provide comments and review documentation received from contractors for the identified critical fluids;
- Represent the project team/group in internal and external meetings, when needed.
