Description
- Support Test engineering team with required test fixtures and validation tools through the entire product design lifecycle.- Help engineers and technicians with lab’s test setups in gathering data during validation process.- Work closely with suppliers to design and fabricate complex camera holders.- Perform FA on fixture related issues and work closely with tooling suppliers to deliver solutions.- Improving the quality of test fixtures by providing mechanical engineering insight.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experience
- Experience in 3D CAD design software
- Experience in troubleshooting failures
- Experience in GD&T principles and tolerance analysis
- Experience in manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Proactive and highly self-motivated
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with prototyping solutions, optical production-level testing fixtures.
- Experience in thermal management solutions, including the use of different materials to optimize heat dissipation.
- Strong understanding of automation used in high volume production workflow to improve consistent output.
- Project and product management experience is desired.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
