Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the account team, Principal Architect, Sales Systems Engineers, and AT&T factories/partners to design and deliver Managed Unified Communications (UCaaS) and Contact Center (CCaaS) Services for Public Sector Customers.
- Provides recommendations, guidance, support and oversight for changes and enhancements to the customer network specific to their UCaaS, CCaaS, and IP Voice requirements and environment – utilizing both Avaya and Cisco environments.
- Works closely with Public Sector Sales System Engineers to educate and position AT&T managed UCaaS, CCaaS, and IP Voice Services across their assigned accounts.
- Works with customer’s network architects and engineers to design and develop the UCaaS, CCaaS, and IP Voice architectures to align with evolving customer requirements and data network environments.
- Works closely with vendors to align optimal managed voice service and solution with customer requirements and AT&T network service portfolio.
- Collaborates with account team and others on business development opportunities and expansion of existing services.
- Works with Sales Systems Engineers to educate and consult on legacy local services to assist with migration to SIP/UC services.
- Expert level technical professional.
- Delivers managed voice and contact center service designs and implementation plans based on complex customer requirements.
- Presents designs and plans to customers and account team members in a clear and compelling manner.
Required Clearance:Public Trust
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Systems Engineering; or equivalent experience.
- Industry Technical Certifications in Unified Communications, Contact Center, Data Networking are desired.
- Significant experience with designing and implementing IP Voice architectures for large enterprises (2,000+ employees).
- Deep understanding of VoIP and network protocols including but not limited to: SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and BGP; and network security principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot voice network infrastructure.
- 8-10+ years of experience in telecommunications and or voice communications architect field
- Desirable candidates will have strong leadership, administrative skills, and experience in the following areas: Technical Support, Vendor Negotiation, Operations, Test & Turnup, Product Management, and Executive Escalations.
