Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 4+ years solution or services sales experience.
Responsibilities
  1. Sales Execution:

    • Engage in conversations with industry-aligned customers to introduce how other workloads can enable digital transformation.
    • Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth.
    • Identify opportunities for consumption and business growth with existing customers.
    • Propose solutions that align with customer needs and articulate their business value.
    • Build external stakeholder relationships and engage senior decision makers.
  2. Scaling and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with partners to cross-sell and up-sell.
    • Leverage internal relationships and partners to maximize impact.
  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Leads conversations and sets up events within Microsoft.
    • Mentors others and develops strategies for best practice sharing.
    • Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
    • Collaborates with global black belts to analyze competitor products and implement strategies to position Microsoft favorably.
  4. Sales Excellence:

    • Collaborates with partners and leverages customer insights.
    • Reviews feedback reports and coaches others on improving customer satisfaction.
    • Engages with internal and external stakeholders for business planning.
    • Conducts business analysis to pursue high-potential customers.
    • Manages the end-to-end business of the assigned territory.
  5. Training and Certifications:

    • Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications.
