This role is based in either Sydney or Melbourne. The position requires regular domestic and international travel (approximately 25% of work time).Key job responsibilities- Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.
- Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsible to integrate new equipment designs, process improvements, safety enhancement, etc.; into standard designs.
- Lead multiple high priority projects that involves management and influence of stakeholders from multiple functional areas and regions- Lead the preparation of specifications and technical detail to fully define the requirements on building environment, equipment, material, process and services.
- Review all technical documentation such as buildings layouts, traffic plans, flow diagrams, conveyor and equipment layouts, installation details, schedules and budgets to ensure that they meet requirements and are clear before issuing to contractors.
- Active involvement in cross functional infrastructure projects, provide technical input and conduct value engineering/ value analysis.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
- 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing
- Experience with benchmarking technical equipment and metrics

- Master's degree
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
