This is a hybrid role based out of Maple Grove, MN.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead US marketing strategy development and execute demand generation tactics for key product lines and accessories.
- Complete portfolio health assessments to optimize the product portfolio and partner with upstream marketing on portfolio management.
- Assist in managing the franchise’s internal global downstream marketing network and provide marketing direction to field sales and other strategic channels, including execution of key initiatives.
- Identify and assess product opportunities by understanding the clinical procedure, the key decision makers, and business barriers and motivations.
- Provide leadership for the franchise marketing processes and key marketing project deliverables by recommending and participating in managing the set of resources required for the franchise to meet its business plan.
- Establish, build, and maintain key internal and external relationships, including cross functional teams, other franchises, sales, and opinion leaders.
- Partner with finance, sales, and supply chain to develop the forecast as well as resolve other operationally related issues.
- Assist in the development and execute strategic and tactical plan(s) that drives successful attainment of goals as they relate to a specific product, channel, or project.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of medical device experience strongly preferred.
- Deep clinical expertise in medical device capital and service process or demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise.
- Exceptional People Skills, including: (1) the ability to earn and maintain the respect of senior leaders; and (2) the ability to respectfully disagree with senior leaders and/or generate buy-in around delicate and sometimes unpopular conclusions and mandates.
- Ability to influence senior leadership while maintaining their respect through excellent communication and people skills and creating compelling, cohesive, and succinct presentations.
- Prior strategic planning or product commercial experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment as an individual contributor and effectively in a team-based environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Position requires ~15-20% travel.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or related advanced degree
- Prior medical device experience
- Marketing or applicable functional experience
