What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Establish and enforce the Low Voltage Distribution timeline, aligning with Semi program milestones
- Provide stakeholders with clear input on schedules, issues, and deliverables for all
- Collaborate with Engineering Leads from Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Integration, and many other teams to drive requirements, decision-making and track deliverables
- Highlight risk and opportunities for program or executive reviews and drive improvements
- Coordinate engineering requirements with supply chain teams for effective material planning
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication
- Coordinate design changes implementation, including change reviews, line trials, and reworks
- Facilitate communication between cross functional teams (i.e.: engineering, reliability, supply chain, factory, etc.)
- Continuously enhance processes to improve efficiency and promote best practices within Low Voltage Distribution and Tesla
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in hardware development for medium to high-volume industries
- Familiarity with CAD programs, ideally CATIA/3DX
- Proficient in scheduling software, with MS Projects preferred
- Experience in successfully leading a team of Engineers (i.e.: SAE team)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate concisely and persuasively
- Experience in international supplier management
- Willingness to travel to factories or suppliers
- Strong ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
