Job DescriptionAs a Folsom Operations Specialist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversees day-to-day activities of contractors on-site and interfaces with customers ensuring services and assets are operated and maintained according to service level agreements. Supervise projects that are executed through our contractors, whether funded and owned through our internal org or external orgs.
- Manages relevant contracts and suppliers to deliver high quality employee services within a site or sub-region, including but not limited to IFM, transportation, cafeterias, and other building services.
- Oversees campus / building maintenance services comprising areas such as roofs, walls, landscape, hardscape, pavements, facade cleaning, pest control, and building structural maintenance and upkeep programs through IFM supplier.
- Represents relevant scope areas in infrastructure projects (i.e., from positioning to room acceptance).
- Manages incident response and communications activities to avoid service interruptions
- Ensures the facility, procedures, and service programs maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and agency audits.
- Works closely with facility occupants ensuring proper maintenance and facility assets are appropriately provided and assigned.
- Performs regular audits of equipment, fixtures, and systems to ensure contractual needs are met and ensure consistency with global services standards.
- Inspects building structures, performs analysis and forecasting and makes recommendations for repairs or renovations.
- Develops and helps execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to projects and services.
- Monitors site operational budget and strives to maximize efficiency in all areas.
- Partners with procurement organization to manage key performance indicators and supplier scorecard metrics.
- Manages capital equipment/space renovation roadmaps per specific service type.
- Acts as subject matter expert for site operations and services for green-field, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Provides project management services around site services, including gathering requirements, conducting assessments, defining milestones, timelines, deliverables and quality standards.

- Regulatory Compliance - Ability to drive all steps and initiatives an organization needs to execute in order to comply with relevant laws, policies, and regulations to conduct business in an area / geography.
- Site Operations - Knowledge of on-site operational procedures and practices like materials preparation, including receiving, packaging, storing, and shipment of supplies, materials etc.
QualificationsMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel's immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA or BS in technology related discipline OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Facilities management
- Operations
- Project/program management
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of combined experience in facilities management, operations, engineering, and/or project/program management
- Experience in supplier contracting and management techniques
- Experience in leveraging data visualization and business automation tools to drive operational improvements.
