DESCRIPTION

The person will be working on the latest Salesforce technologies, you will also have the opportunity to work with AWS Services to innovate in the space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You’ll be chartered with building applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. In addition, as part of the broader AWS Sales and Marketing organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader cloud strategy for AWS and potentially future AWS products.Key job responsibilities- As a Sr. System Development Engineer in SMGS-AFX group, you will architect, design and build scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions for our Sales and operations teams in partnership with other technology partners/teams/leaders within/external the Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization.- You will provide solution for our CRM and native AWS tools/applications to automate, optimize, quote to cash transactional workflows, improving operational efficiency. You will simplify and reinvent systems, processes, and tools to improve seller and customer experiences. you will technically lead a complex charter of building and delivering cloud services and CRM solutions. You will jointly define strategy, vision, and roadmap of multi-year business critical cloud technology solution which will be rolled out to Sellers.- As a Systems Development Engineer III, you will define technical initiatives to drive cost optimization across various CRM, and AWS environments, bring thought leadership to manage availability, latency and performance of our mission critical tools, services.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and or related fields
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- 6 + years of experience of product development life-cycle in enterprise distributed and or CRM systems, solution and systems design, software development, operations, automation, and simplification with
- knowledge of engineering best practices, software development life cycle, including solution architecture, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification in large-scale infrastructure/platform DevOps environment
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders, product, build and program management teams


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ Experice in Salesforce CRM platform with certifications
- Experience in leading and communicating with end users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to understand requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, Golang,
- Experience with CICD pipelines DevOps processes
