What the Candidate Will Do

• Manage directly 3 staff, with additional support from external consultants
• Take full ownership and responsibility for compliance in 15 countries in the LATAM region (not including Mexico or Brazil)
• Collaborate with our global compliance team and lead projects to ensure we automate processes and create best practice processes on an international level.
• You’ll be a strong team player who is able to work with people across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in financial reporting or local tax compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA/CA/ACCA/equivalent qualification
• A strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, principles across LATAM
• Strong team management experience
• Team player with the ability to work independently and willingness to take on challenges
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders
• Ability to interact with all departments and levels throughout our organization
• Excellent project and time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Bonus Points

• Big 4 experience is a strong plus
• Experience with Oracle R12 or another large scale ERP is preferred
