As the Renewable Energy Market Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Partner with client accounts managers and sales leaders to connect with clients, share client intel, and upcoming opportunities.
- Working with our sales and operations leaders to develop our strategy for industry trade group branding and technical/sales conference strategy, plan, and budgets; then prepare participants for success and follow up on leads.
- Develop and present technical publications and presentations appropriate for clients and conferences.
- Participate and serve in leadership roles within professional societies, panels, conferences, and external training sessions.
- Engage in industry trade groups to identify long-term growth areas and inform strategy.
- Track industry trends and disseminate industry intel to cross-functional teams (both strategy/sales and delivery teams).
- Responsible to work collaboratively with sales in achieving gross margin sold targets and operations teams in achieving gross margin delivered targets.
- Partner with talent leaders to proactively grow strategic hires.
- Support account growth through increased partnering and elevating market/technical discipline experts.
- Develop innovative solutions that differentiate Jacobs in the market as the “accelerator to a sustainable energy future.”
- Support retention and engagement of talent.
- Support the operations team in maintaining key milestones on transformational projects per "as bid" schedule committed to client.
As part of your role, you will also be a seller-doer, developing relationships with our clients, leading proposal efforts, and collaborating on overall client strategy as either a Project Manager or Senior Technical Consultant/Subject Matter Expert. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and manage projects and programs to avoid and minimize environmental impact while accelerating change through important energy infrastructure and energy transformation projects. You will provide motivation and direction to project teams while you are partnered with experienced project delivery and technical leaders and mentors to facilitate your project and career priorities. Aligned with any of our US or Canadian offices, this is a hybrid position where you can work remotely and in the office.
