What to Expect

Please note thisposition will primarily be based within the Koorangie region, however occasional travel to support otherregional sites may be required.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot andrepair equipment as defined by the service engineering team
  • Perform complex andprecise electro-mechanical debug, rework and repair
  • Perform tasksrequiring a high level of skill and patience
  • Comfortable andable to work with Medium and High Voltage environments while maintaining asafety focus
  • Operate a varietyof hand tools, power tools and LV/MV/HV test equipment for diagnosis andtroubleshooting
  • Develop and followbest practices and procedures for various maintenance activities related toTesla Energy equipment
  • Maintain highlevels of communication and feedback within the Tesla Energy serviceorganization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, andfuture timelines.
  • Have flexibility toprovide support outside your region and possibly outside the country asrequired
  • Perform otherrelated duties as assigned per our growth and diversity across applications
  • Actively workacross Powerpack and Megapack Utility sites, ensuring operations &maintenance requirements are met, maintaining a healthy fleet that isperforming optimally
What You’ll Bring
  • CertifiedElectrician (Cert III (3)+ in Electrical/Electro Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years’experience, with at least 3 years’ electrical experience within the Utilitysector (Solar/Wind experience is preferred)
  • Must have up todate Electrical Registration/License
  • Must have HVswitching certification and experience
  • SCADA operatingexperience is a plus
  • Must be able towork from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and writteninstructions depending on situation
  • Strong computerskills, ability to utilise proprietary and 3rd party OEM software
  • Ability tocommunicate and function well in a mobile office setting
  • Ability to read andunderstand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanicaldrawings
  • Must be reliable,have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
  • Willingness to workoutdoors, occasionally on the road at unusual hours
  • Valid driver’slicense required
  • Knowledge ofoperation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand and power tools, shoptools, test equipment
  • Ability to establishand maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in thecourse of work, including the public
  • Ability toeffectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintainand perform top level professional integrity and appearance
