ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and maintains strong partnerships with the corporate or insurance entity leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner in organizational design and development, workforce planning, growth and succession planning, employee engagement and retention, , employee relations, and performance management.
• Provides guidance on attracting, retaining, and developing the best talent for the organization. Works towards reducing turnover and enhancing the overall employee experience.
• Works closely with business leaders, the CHRO and HR Centers of Excellence to develop and implement HR initiatives, policies and programs and to ensure strategic HR goals and objectives are met.
• Consults with management and employees on employee relations issues, ensuring awareness of and compliance with employment laws: guide performance management, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Partner with business leaders to execute reductions in force including business case, new org design, selection criteria, employee communications, etc.
• Administers salary actions, reviews, and recommends fair and competitive wage structures, and leads the annual performance and salary review process for the insurance entity in coordination with the COE’s.
• Actively contributes to developing and implementing the overall HR strategy. Translates business strategy into effective HR services that support business objectives. Assess the people implications of business strategies and recommend best practices.
• Manages a team of HR Business Partners providing leadership and coaching to ensure a high-performance team.
• Prepares reports and presentation of HR data, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership to create solutions that will improve the employee experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• 10+ years of experience (Preferred)

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
• PHR/SPHR (Preferred)

The annual base salary for this position is $178,000 - $225,000.
