What you'll do...
What you'll do:
- Log analysis to identify anomalous or scripted traffic, layer 7 attacks, account takeover, and fraud.
- Evaluating security events and key metrics from dashboards and alerts
- Proactively hunting for anomalous or fraudulent traffic
- Developing and deploying bot mitigation across dozens of Walmart’s global eCommerce sites
- Managing bot traffic during hype sales events
- Building and improving reporting, dashboards, and alerting
- Managing and documenting resolutions to technical issues and RCA of security incidents
- Working with site teams to review and classify bot traffic.
What you'll bring:
- Have a passion for data and security.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience using Splunk or a comparable log analysis solution.
- Experience in network and web related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, etc.)
- Strong web infrastructure and security fundamentals (JavaScript, HTML, Cookies, DDoS)
- Familiar with at least one scripting language and one Database language.
- A strong sense of accountability and self-motivation
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience in Information Security
