This position involves in perf and power measurement/analysis effort on various internal/external devices for high performance gaming (DX and Vulkan) use cases to influence next generation GPU roadmap for Qualcomm Graphics solution. The measurements/analysis scope includes but not limited to performance (fps, latency, etc.), power breakdown with available major power rails, bandwidth, CPU statistics (residency, IPC, etc.), GPU statistics using counters (ALU/s, Pixels/s, etc.), Cache statistics, software instrumented (debug features) perf/power measurements, etc. This position also requires some analytical skill for data validation, finding opportunities for optimization in the measured data, be able to provide feedback to modelling team for better correlation. Position would also require python programming knowledge to build/maintain automation. Computer architecture background and understanding of system level dataflow in modern SOCs would be plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hands on lab measurement experience on device,

  • validate without much supervision.

  • Moderate knowledge of python scripting

  • Min 0 to 3 years on job experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of microprocessor/SOC architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (Display, Graphics, CPUs, BUS, etc.)

  • Python, Javascript programming background will be preferred

  • Experience with performance and power profiling on Windows OS

Pay range:

$105,500.00 - $158,500.00
