In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualification:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience working with technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
4+ years experience working in an Agile Methodology using Kanban, Scrum with Jira
4+ years experience in Software Development Lifecycle
4+ years of the following development languages/utilities: such as COBOL/COBOLII development, Easytrieve, REXX, SQL, IBM Sort (with JoinKeys & Reformat options experience), JCL, NDM Connect:Direct, DEBUG
4+ years of the following system environments: z/OS Level: 02.05.00, TSO/ISPF, CICS, IBM Developer for zOS (IDz), File Manager (VSAM/DB2), Mainview, CA7 Job Scheduler, DB2 BMC Tools, SAVRS
4+ years of the following file management systems/databases: Mainframe Datasets, Dataset Encryption, VSAM Files, DB2 Database
4+ years experience working with the Endevor source code management system.
2+ years experience working with test script platform ACCELQ
1+ years of experience with Change Management system ServiceNow, Checkmarx Enterprise and Threadfix.
1+ years of enterprise experience with CI/CD implementation, configuration management and orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions
1+ year of experience with performance tuning, profiling complex Java application and knowledge of Java memory model
1+ years of experience with database platforms like Mongo, Oracle DB
Desired Qualification:
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong analytical background
Must have the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Must be able to interface with architects, infrastructure groups and Line of Business project technical staff
