Working as a Senior Industrial Engineer you will work alongside a team of engineers to identify and drive improvement opportunities in multiple Distribution Centre’s (DC) across the adidas network. Industry wide knowledge of manual and automated distribution centres is a requirement in this role as well as an understanding of current trends within these fields.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising industrial processes within the adidas DC network. You will lead the verification and validation of proposals from 3rd Party vendors throughout the tender phase for new or expanding DC’s as well as delivering support and guidance through the implementation, testing and stabilisation phases for the 3PL.

You will be responsible for optimizing existing processes, improving productivity and lowering unit cost across the adidas DC network. You will identify and evaluate bottlenecks within the material flow of the DC and develop improvement plans to improve or reduce the impact of the flow.

• Advanced ability to analyze complex processes and drive positive change.
• Thorough understanding of improvement tools as SIXSIGMA, Kaizen, 5S, time and motion studies.
• Design experience within an automated distribution centre is essential.
