Job Description

The Collateral Operations Manager will focus on leading a production team responsible for managing the end-to-end processing of commercial collateral perfection, maintenance, and releases. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, dissemination of critical information, and adherence to service level agreements. The Collateral Operations Manager would propose and implement appropriate changes and solutions to meet enterprise policies and guidelines. Requires direct interaction with commercial legal and internal/external audit examiners.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically 8 to 10 years of relevant experience

Skills Should Include

  • 5+ years of financial operations experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in financial operations
  • Highly resourceful and self-motivated; strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Intermediate computer skills with collaboration and productivity tools including Windows-based operating systems and office suites (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); spreadsheet applications to organize data used for advanced data analysis
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Executives, managers, auditors, and employees
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and draft policy and procedure manuals
  • Ability to work with close attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
  • In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
  • Well-developed customer relations skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources

***The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.***

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $83,810.00 - $98,600.00 - $108,460.00
