Job Description: Sr. Advance Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities in delivering NPI / Obsolescence Redesign / Value Engineering Programs:
Responsible for the development of work package structure and SOW and accountable for the engineering delivery of the programs.
Ensure the program objectives and requirements are met for development of hardware / firmware / software across multiple COEs
Work closely with support functions such as AME/ISC, ETS, PSE, and Procurement to identify and execute cost and cycle time improvement activities
Develop and maintains long-term relationships with key stakeholders to gather competitive intelligence and identify additional scope where needed
Periodically lead root cause and corrective action investigations on moderately complex problems
Well versed with Schedule Management, Cost Management, Stakeholder Management, Communication management and Risk Management
Review and approval of technical documentation and deliverables
Proactively work with GBE to align with their product roadmaps
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Engineering ( E&C, Information Systems , EE, Instrumentation Electronics)
Strong problem-solving abilities & influencing skills
10+ years of Engineering experience, including technical program management, technical project lead experience with an exposure to HON Aero IPDS
5+ years of experience in aerospace related industry, preferably in the field of Electrical/ Printed Board Assembly Design / NPI/ Obsolescence Electronic Hardware Redesign
Strong leadership and communication skills
Trained in Earned Value Management (EVM) and working experience on PE/PM tools such as HMR, MAT, AET.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above
PMP completion will be an added advantage
