Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.

  • Develops procedural implementation and change management process with Operations and Reporting team to ensure proper governance and controls exist.

  • Establishes quarterly Risk and Control Assessment (QRA) process of attributes to ensure proper calculation and control.

  • Identifies and assigns key metrics (e.g. KRI/KPIs) to support effective monitoring and management of operational risk including controls assurance and ensure issues identified and corrective actions are raised to address gaps.

  • Follows through corrective action plans (CAP) to resolve identified issues either by management or audit.

  • Works to maximize MCA (Manager Control Assessment) completeness and IBAM (Issues being addressed by management) ratios.

  • Supports key stakeholders in internal and /or external audits.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years relevant work experience in a Technology Risk & Controls role.

  • Understanding Data management, Applications, Infrastructure, Networks on a strong level is required (MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic a plus).

  • Understanding of at least onetechnology infrastructurearea (Middleware Technology is a plus).

  • Effective organizational influencing skills required.

  • Third party vendor management preferred.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Fluency in English.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.
