Responsibilities

• Analyze software entitlement and consumption data and derive key insights
• Work closely with key stakeholders to optimize software consumption and spend
• Strategize SW utilization and planning, drive actions to optimize the SW estate
• Propose and design new SAM processes and steer process implementation
• Verify the data quality in the SAM tools/sources and drive corrective actions together with License Managers, Service Owners, other stakeholders.
• Define, prepare, and publish software reports with data from SAM Tools, CMDB etc., identify best data sources and data linkage to retrieve customized software reports.
• Provide SW Asset Management support activities for auditing purposes

Key Competencies

• Strong Software Asset Management technical understanding
• Working knowledge of SAM tools (such as Flexera, ServiceNow ITAM, ServiceNow CMDB / Discovery, ILMT) to generate and maintain accurate compliance positions for End-user devices, Sata Centers and Cloud environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation of issues
• Ability to work with key stakeholders as a business partner.
• Proficiency in process definition and improvement.
• Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field from recognized university
• 7-10 years of experience in SW asset management with licensing knowledge of some of the main software publishers like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, VMWare, RedHat, Adobe, Autodesk, etc.
• Sound experience in Information Technology.
• Experience with Software Asset Management tools (Flexera, Aspera, ServiceNow ITAM, ILMT, etc.) is a must
• Experience in working with data, preparing reports, analytical background and using data management tools
