This position is primarily based in a PNC location in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.Must be able to proactively support Communication Senior Manager in a fast-paced corporate area. In addition, must be well organized, have an attention to detail, work independently, multi-task and exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment.The successful candidate will preferably have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of corporate communications or related experience
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees
• Demonstrated research capabilities
• Manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to think and work independently
• Demonstrated organizational skillsPreferred Skills:
• Firm grasp of current affairs
• Advanced Excel
• Web content management
Job Description
  • Designs, develops, produces and consults on a variety of internal and external communications.
  • Plans, researches, and develops of content for increasingly complex communications initiatives.
  • Identifies issues and opportunities, consults with organization on all aspects of communication, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.
  • Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.
  • Participates on project teams, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
  • Compiles, prepares, and synthesizes communications data for management review.
