As the Maternal Infant Care (MIC) Clinical Sales Manager, you will work as part of MIC Segment team to develop/drive programs/product strategy and directly support NPI/NSI launches while managing a national team of Clinical Sales Specialists in the Maternity and NICU segments. This position has a defined geographic coverage area by Zone/Region and will carry its associated quota. Expected to be able to differentiate PCS/MIC's product offerings, convey compelling value propositions, qualify identified opportunities, develop/present solutions, and respond to customers' clinical/technical questions.
This position will work with and may manage/coordinate directly with the Zone/Region/Market PSS the sale of the company's products. Owns/influences commercial business operating guidelines and has ownership/influence over budgets. Guided by functional policy. High levels of commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Increase orders, sales, margin, and share through world-class clinical consulting, strong customer relationships, and educational support for regional sales team, local/national “show sites” and regional customer base. This role require specialty clinical qualifications.
- Developing commercial expertise across one or more product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Lead functional teams and projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in Sales & Clinical Sales. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Desired Characteristics
- Nursing degree with emphasis in Labor and Delivery and or NICU
- Demonstrated experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Strong ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
- Excellent ability develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
