In this role, you will:
- Participate in low to moderately complex residential and commercial valuation initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities
- Perform basic valuation management reviews, valuations, inspections, quality oversights, and consult on low-to-medium risk level issues and deliverables
- Review, analyze or prepare basic valuation reports to ensure appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory, and bank policy
- Present recommendations for resolving situations with low to moderate complexity, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, processes, and compliance requirements
- Provide information, collaborate, and consult with collateral examiners, peers, internal partners and managers
- Interact and manage business relationships
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Valuations, Lending, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of collateral underwriting experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 2+ years in co-op or condo project underwriting experience
- Knowledge of CORE
- Understanding of P & L Statements and Balance Sheets
Job Expectations:
- Obtain Co-op Level 1 delegation of authority within 60 days of start date
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Training 8am - 5pm in office (tentative)
- Schedule after training will be 8am – 5pm or 9am - 6pm.
- Hours may change due to business needs and may include overtime.
- Apply knowledge of standard underwriting procedures, creditor financial analysis techniques.
- Review and perform accurate analysis to ensure adherence to agency and non-agency guidelines
