The Inside Sales Account Manager in Professional Services (PS) is responsible for working a sales territory alongside a designated PS SalesRepresentative.This includes sales to new or existing F5 product customers and building positive relationships with F5 Channel and Distribution partners. This role typically requires 2+ years of previous relevant account management experience and familiarity with the Channel model.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use product knowledge, build client relationships, and find new ways to retain customers
- Be detail-oriented when it comes to sales of products and services
- Upsell and spontaneously offer additional products and services
- Research accounts, identify key personnel and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the assigned territory
- Close Sales while meeting/exceeding sales goals.
- Coordinate with PS Sales Representativeto identify and manage lead/opportunity through sales process to closure. This may also involve working with F5 Distributors and Partners, End Users and the product Outside/Inside sales teams
- Administrative duties include but are not limited to: scope call preparation, quoting services opportunity in Salesforce, managing assigned opportunity through sales process, receiving and verifying purchase orders, running reports, and additional account maintenance as required.
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with high volume of transactions
- Previous experience in quota-bearing sales role
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to organize time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
- Additional systems experience a plus: SalesForce
Qualifications
- 2 + years selling services/interfacing with large enterprise account customers and Channel Partners.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings) and less than 5% travel for job related events.
