Background and Position Summary:
EY is a technology partner of choice for banks for their digital transformation, modernization of their core and uplifting their enterprise technology stack. This position requires the person to be a well rounded delivery leader having served large retail banks in US/EMEIA/APAC in leading large digital transformation programs or standing up digital banks grounds up.
The Chief Delivery Officer of the platform needs to have a proven track record in an IT organization and demonstrates the following key attributes:
- Should Posses high-level understanding of data model, technical architecture and distributed ecosystems for banks
- Techno functional knowledge of Core Banking platforms such as Mambu, Thought Machine, 10X is highly desirable.
- Have a Consulting mindset to work with diverse product types, customer needs, regions and requirements
- Demonstrate technology rigor and solid delivery capabilities to delivery complex features in a compressed timeframe to meet client commitments
- Demonstrate thought leadership in building, growing, and maturing the practice to scale
- Experience in working with stakeholders in regions outside of India geo
- Represent EY at CxO level meetings for Global Delivery Solutioning and Delivery Capabilities
- Act as Trusted Advisor to Regional Financial Services Leadership Team, senior leaders and serving as GDS escalation point for platform
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Conduct assessments for functional and technical fitment for core banking / payments/ lending/ mortgage platforms
- Owning end to delivery across multi-disciplinary team comprising (Business SMEs, BAs, Data Ops, Architect, Engineering and DevOps)
- Deliver key KPIs of Revenue Growth, Quality & Productivity, Margin Improvement, Customer Satisfaction
- Have experience in developing strategies, plan, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of projects and products.
- Work with client-facing teams and management to prepare estimates and contribute towards pursuits, proposals, and Statement of Work
- Host several client CXOs and their teams to create the conducive & collaborative environment for client innovation
- Should have demonstrable experience in leading innovation (Point of Views, Position Papers, Demos etc) in the BCM domain
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Global Distributed Delivery Models, and product-oriented approach focused on Clients’ outcome
- Profound expertise in cross technical and functional areas spanning over 20+ years across a variety of roles in client, delivery, innovation, solution architecting, people and delivery
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Business Development, Go-to-market and Sales strategies, BCM sector and clients’ mega trends
- Solutioning, business development support & presales, estimation experience
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Highly motivated, self-starter professional with the ability to lead large transformations across client organizations
- The person will also work collaboratively with Tech leaders for complex large delivery assignments
- Should have experience in building and leading large teams
Other Requirements:
- Desirable for the candidate to be based in BLR/CHN/HYD
- This job will require some travel
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or a related field with 20+ years of experience.
- Expertise in BCM sector knowledge with 15+ years of working experience in the sector
- Experience in leading large BCM accounts and managing key client stakeholders
- Graduate from top college known for engineering skills is a huge plus
Experience:
- 20+ Years overall, with minimum 5+ years in Banking Tech Services/Consulting in a leadership role
