Key Responsibilities:

  • SecOps Customer Engagements: Establish and maintain advisory relationships with key strategic accounts, focusing on enhancing their security operations. Work closely with CISOs, Security Analysts, and IT leaders to understand their SecOps challenges and provide expert guidance on tailored solutions.
  • Strategy Development for SecOps : Develop and implement strategies that position Fortinet as a leader in the SecOps space. Stay ahead of emerging threats and trends to advice on proactive security operations strategies. Influence product and service offerings by providing feedback on market needs and customer challenges.
  • SecOps Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design and demonstration of SecOps solutions tailored to customer needs. Guide teams through the implementation of security automation, incident response frameworks, and threat detection mechanisms. Ensure Fortinet's solutions are effectively integrated into customer environments for optimal security operations performance.
  • Educational Leadership in SecOps: Act as a thought leader in the SecOps community, creating educational content, leading training sessions, and mentoring peers. Share insights and best practices at industry events and through Fortinet channels to elevate the SecOps practice.

What you offer:

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly within SecOps, in startups, hyperscalers, or the high-tech industry around early detection and early response to advanced cyber threats covering endpoint, web, email, API and cloud attack vectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge deep technical and strategic relationships with senior executives, business owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Strong expertise in SecOps practices, security automation (APIs, coding), incident response, threat intelligence, understanding and utilization of industry best practices, standards (NIS, MITRE, SOC2 etc.) and related technologies.
  • Proficiency with modern cybersecurity tools, platforms, standards, guidelines and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically focusing on SecOps, security automation, and incident response strategies;

CISSP preferred. Additional certifications like CISM, GCIH, or GCFA are a plus.

Master's Degree in the same fields plus 6+ years of experience;

Equivalent professional experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of security automation, coding/scripting for security applications, incident response protocols and procedures, threat intelligence, and familiarity with standards such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC2, etc.
  • 6+ years of customer-facing experience in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, with a focus on cybersecurity and SecOps.
