Your key responsibilities
- Advisory our clients in their business and strategic decisions related to Hospitality and Real Estate;
- Portfolio and Investment analysis;
- Participation in all phases of a transaction and advisory process (buy-side and sell-side);
- Brand and Operator selection processes;
- Commercial conditions, head of terms, leases, HMAs, hybrid agreement, contract structure definition and negotiation;
- Participation in all activities related to hospitality transactions including the sourcing of new opportunities and the preparation of investment materials, potential investor identification, direct contact and follow-up;
- Development of financial models and different strategic alternatives (real estate development, value add strategies, brand definition, product positioning/definition, exit strategies, etc.);
- Hotels operation and P&L analysis, forecasting, benchmarking and commercial due diligence;
- Corporate, portfolio and asset-level valuation analysis;
- Preparation of high-quality presentation materials for client teasers, investor information memorandum and other transaction-related marketing documents, both in English and Portuguese;
- Support of Transaction diligence (buy-side and sell-side/carve-out), including lender diligence, real estate asset diligence and transaction closing;
- Team with our capital strategy/brokerage platform, which includes property and real estate transactions and capital raising (both equity and debt).

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Academic education in Hospitality, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business Management, Economics or similar fields of study;
- More than 5 years of experience in the Hospitality sector preferably with a Real Estate focus (expansion management, business development, asset management, capital markets or investment advisory);
- Deep understanding of the Hospitality market in Portugal, its sub-sectors and its stakeholders (Developers, Brands, Operators, Investors, consultants, etc.);
- Understanding of Hotel Operations, key success factors, and revenues and P&L drivers;
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients;
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed expectations;
- Ambition to grow on a recent team;
- Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook required;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
