Responsibilities
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program and project initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Lead multiple project groups (internal and external), ensuring goals are reached on time and within both scope and budget
- Build concise communication to all parties clearly outlining project objectives, timing, challenges, and call to action’s.
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity and on-time asset delivery
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Document lessons learned to improve procedures in future projects
- Manage program and project teams for optimalreturn-on-investment,and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work with other program managers and key stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred), in business administration or related field.
- 6+ years in a project management; PMP certification strongly preferred
- Retail Store formatting, construction, and/or other Opening experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of project management tools; experience with Jira & Confluence strongly preferred
- Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
- Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Physical/Mental Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC’s, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position.
