Firm Registrations and Regulatory Reporting is seeking an Associate to support and manage the various requirements surrounding registrations with applicable states, territories, and foreign regulators. The Associate will have a deep understanding of the firm registration procedures and policies as well as state specific laws and regulations to support our team with monitoring, preparing and submitting required registrations and/or renewal applications timely and accurately.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of registrations with all 50 states, three territories and various foreign regulators
- Monitor, track, and update movement within each EY office relevant to each registration and update various state boards, when required
- Maintain accurate records in internal databases and systems
- Stay current with industry regulations and changes in registration requirements
- Compare current year registration renewals with prior year submission and identify any changes in registration requirements
- Confirm and verify accuracy of information by collaborating with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Apply knowledge and understanding of firm’s processes, resources and tools to effectively support functional teams and customers
- Participate in meetings and partner with internal stakeholders such as Assurance, Professional Practice, Finance, Partnership Operations, CPA Licensing, General Counsel’s Office and document any takeaways, notes, action items, etc.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude by contributing energy and new ideas to team efforts and meetings, including process improvements for continued execution against strategic priorities, enhance efficiency and identify trends
- Performs duties and responsibilities with limited supervision
- Document work processes and findings in appropriate work programs

To qualify you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
Ideally, you'll also have
- Research skills using internal and external data sources
- Previous experience with risk management, either through education or employment

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $49,100 to $89,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $58,900 to $101,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
