As a
UX/UI Design Intern, you will work on a project integral to the future of our organization. This experience is designed to provide meaningful, real-world exposure to the field of user experience design:
- Collaborate with senior designers on a variety of user-centered design (UCD) projects, including creating mockups and prototypes for key features and flows.
- Develop practical skills in translating user needs into intuitive and functional design solutions.
- Assist with user research activities such as preparing research materials, documenting feedback, and synthesizing insights from usability tests.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
- Stay up-to-date with new design tools and emerging technologies, sharing insights with the team.
- Gain knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and rapid ideation, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, enhancing your communication and teamwork skills.
In this role, you’ll need …
- A strong interest in user experience design and a passion for improving healthcare, particularly in the areas of patient care and dental products.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, and a willingness to explore new tools and technologies to enhance your design work.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas clearly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- A proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn, adapt to new processes, and contribute fresh perspectives to the team.
- A desire to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and a commitment to delivering user-centered solutions.
Primary Location Base Salary Range: $15.00 per hour to $55.00 per hour USD
