Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end background verification checks for new joiners.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and agencies to initiate and track background screening processes.
- Verify candidates’ employment history, educational documents, identity proof, address, criminal records, and other relevant credentials.
- Maintain regular follow-up with candidates for necessary documentation and clarification.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of background verification reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and confidential records of verification results.
- Escalate discrepancies or red flags to the HR Manager.
- Collaborate with the recruitment and HR operations to ensure smooth onboarding of verified candidates.
- Ensure all verifications are compliant with organizational policies and relevant legal guidelines.
- Generate periodic reports on verification status and closures.
- Share any feedback or gaps with the vendor.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors
Knowledge and Experience
- Masters in HR or Bachelors in HR in human resources with experiencewill be ideal.
- A minimum of 2 Year of experience in background verification process is a must.
- 1+ years of experience in HR operations, especially in background verification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
- Familiarity with verification platforms and HRMS tools [Oracle, workday or SAP HCM] is an advantage
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Shift Hours
- India Standard hours.
- This role is to be in office for 5 days a week.
