As a BI Developer you will coordinate business with technical teams across Akamai. You will be responsible for analysis and data management supporting functional organizations within the Cloud Technology group. You will work closely with major stakeholders within the Platform, Product and Finance organization.

As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation through data and analysis
• Providing Data Intelligence by designing, developing, and building dashboards and data sources by leveraging enterprise reporting systems
• Developing and building metrics and key success measures for the business
• Enabling better and proactive decision making, in areas including capacity delivery, financial performance and operations
• Collaborating with CTG business partners and leaders to provide ad-hoc insights and/or regularly published reports
• Leading the technical design of queries and models

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets including experience with pivot tables, v-lookup, formatting
• Have programming experience in SQL
• Have experience with data visualization and analysis tools (Tableau preferred)
• Have experience analyzing data to provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to facilitate larger organizational initiatives
• Be able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
