Qualifications
  • Experience in solution sales/selling with subject matter expertise in Data & AI, Cloud Applications, Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and Security, or other public cloud platforms, including IaaS and PaaS technologies and how they translate into business impact.
  • Solution/portfolio management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for this role. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages in various professional settings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Additional Qualification:

  • Industry sales experience in large Deals or related services track record.
  • Deep acumen of consulting, advisory, sales methodologies.
Responsibilities

The Microsoft Industry Solutions
Consulting Solution Area Specialistis responsible for:

  • Role modelling and demonstrating customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
  • Create “buy-in” vision with key decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft Industry Solutions’ value to influence the cloud strategic direction.
  • Build business cases and lead deals requiring orchestration of virtual teams to build the customer proposal. To substantiate the value of the solution leverage available programs and offers, close the deal and successfully displace competition.
  • Provide an impactful point of view (POV) where Microsoft Industry Solutions can accelerate consumption, aligned to solution area expertise into Account planning cycles.
  • Accelerate Cloud growth: Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Microsoft Industry Solutions projects and programs.
  • Deal excellence: Championing and adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, ownership of opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions, continuous qualification, opportunity reviews and close plan accountability.
  • Continuously build sales expertise, learning and evolving industry and solution knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.
