Your impact
Under the direction of the Master Specification Manager in the Division of Design and Construction at the NYS Office of General Services, the Master Specification Assistant Coordinator will:
- Review requests entered in the MasterSpec system, route to appropriate parties, and/or schedule meetings to gather additional information.
- Move approved MasterSpec updates to the master document, archive old versions, and publish to necessary systems and OGS Public Website.
- Edit and format draft office MasterSpec documents for review by stakeholders and MasterSpec Manager.
- Process requests from the Electronic Contractor Payment System to allow timely payment to contractors utilizing the Master Specifications.
- Compile MasterSpec questions and requests from Division Directors, Cost Control, Construction, Contract Administration, and Design for review by the Master Specification Manager.
- Monitor and identify changes, on a quarterly basis, to Specifications published by the American Institute of Architects, document those changes, and provide for review to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Perform related work as required.
