Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
  • 2+ years of eCommerce / web data analysis experience or equivalent functional work; using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel etc to analyze & interpret web behavioral data
  • 2+ years project/vendor management/category management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
  • 4+ years experience supporting digital user experience development as a product manager, data analyst, UX designer, engineer, or merchandiser
    • OR 4+ years experience working with A/B testing or Feature Flagging tools, such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, AB Tasty, Launch Darkly or similar programs
  • Experience designing rigorous, online experiments and personalization campaigns that deliver customer insights and actionable results (A/B/n, Auto-allocate, MVT, Auto-personalize)
  • Demonstrated project management skills coordinating deliverables across several stakeholders with track record of prioritizing and delivering projects in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Experience or familiarity with user experience, system architecture and agile development practices
  • Proactive communicator who thrives on delivering results through inclusive, cross-group partnerships, with experience in simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical roles

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with colleagues, you will develop and implement research strategies to understand customer needs in relation to organizational goals.
  • You will help drive ideation and prioritization of long term engineering investments by using the insights gained to support the development of solutions and enhance existing products and services.
  • You will help curate & deliver training content, including internal learning sessions, to enable teams to scale impact by integrating experimentation into standard processes.
  • Throughout the experimentation lifecycle, with minimal guidance, you will:
    • Design studies to have clear definitions of success and clean executions to ensure high data quality
    • Work with partner and vendor teams to resolve blockers, and rescope and revaluate projects
    • Share complex learnings in an objective fashion to provide clear direction and next steps for partner teams
  • You will identify opportunities to improve research tools & drive tooling and process optimization to enable experimentation and research at scale.
  • You will contribute to and participate in regular rhythm of business (ROB) reporting and business review meetings to track performance of your program.
