Job Description

The Content and Program Manager, Global eCommerce is responsible for driving our unique and exclusive programs and content for Western Digital, you will tone and deliver compelling content on our direct to customer topics and campaigns. You will be responsible for overseeing the success of our programs, that provide a direct benefit for our customers that they can only get from Western Digital. The Content and Program Manager, will manage relationships with outside partners, handle day-to-day program requirements, and identify opportunities to optimize performance through marketing efforts and enhancements. You will partner closely with the Director, Digital Marketing to ensure alignment and overall strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide program management to ensure continuity and health of products for Pro Rewards, Data Recovery, Extended Warranty, Easy Recycle
  • The role will support content pertaining to website requirements, technical writing capability, understanding use cases and guide product buying decisions and education
  • Support marketing team with other digital copy and content as required
  • Create a consistent tone across the digital landscape, drive the customer journey and the action we want to them to take
  • Manage vendor relationships and billing (POs) each quarter
  • Identify and evaluate issues in projects and seek support from development teams, IT and Web Operations, schedule meetings, supervise, track, and report in-flight programs such as: escalate bugs, customer escalations, and program enhancements
  • Develop and Partner with internal marketing teams to ensure program inclusion in quarterly marketing activities and actively market programs.
  • Drive asset creation and customer flows to ensure a cohesive journey
  • Conduct A/B tests to optimize program messaging, creative, promos, and user experience
  • Have a passion for customer journey and user experience
  • Scope budget, product availability to run offers.
  • Build yearly outlook plan, coordinating with internal Marketing and sales partners
  • Integrate with B2B plans for loyalty program communications
  • Support B2B programs as needed
  • Observe, identify, and share opportunities with Director to improve program functionality and performance
  • Drive quarterly and yearly growth, build a strategy on owned programs to deliver results such as sign ups, engagement, repeat purchases and revenue.
  • Proactively manage, communicate, and resolve or mitigate risks, to ensure on-time delivery of all project/program deliverables
  • Create and monitor JIRA tickets throughout the development cycle and ensure quality release
  • Setup reviews and evaluations of designs or proposed solutions with key stakeholders.
  • Continually gather and report program KPIs
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and or equivalent experience
  • Experience with managing programs from beginning to end
  • 5+ years in marketing, or CRM , provide examples of technical writing, product use cases and or digital marketing.
  • Ability to build relationships, work effectively cross-functionally, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and lead cross-functionally with excellent communication skills.
  • Developed leadership, analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creative and strategic skills.
  • Proficient in managing development, including external developers, across various geographic locations

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
