What you will do:
- Prepare, control and maintain the Control Plan.
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the APQP.
- Create and revalidate PPAP, receive customer requirements in PPAP, or annual assessments.
- Generate product validation plans based on IATF design specifications and general rules.
- Participate in the development of FMEA.
- Monitor SPC on the production line.
- Ensure MSA compliance in-line.
- Coordinate sweepstakes or containment activities with the customer.
- Develop responsible personnel and provide support for the development of production personnel.
- Coordinate the Materials Review Board and describe the reason for the rejection.
- Perform Level 2 layer audits and verify the correct completion and follow-up of findings.
- Make sure that the equipment under your responsibility is properly identified, calibrated and registered.
- Perform risk analysis on the released product.
- Approve, issue, and keep up to date records of general and special features, inspection instructions, and checklists and visual aids.
- Conduct Dock audits and ensure the availability of resources to perform them.
- Create and monitor the Secure Release Plan, document the results, and establish corrective actions.
- Manage MSA's study database and ensure compliance with study programs.
- Notify the quality manager if an unusual situation is detected and determine a disposition for affected materials and/or products.
- Require internal vendors to identify and track components that have D safety characteristics.
- Perform visual checks and generate quality alerts according to established procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the field of quality within an automotive manufacturing facility
- 2+ Years of lead experience
- Knowledge of Core Tools, GD&T, CSR and special processes (CQI applicable).
- Fluency in English conversation.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and current software, such as Excel and Word.
Extra points if you have:
- Knowledge in CMM programming and operation (ZEISS, HEXAGON).
- Basic knowledge of CAD (Solidworks).
