In this role, you will:
- Define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the automation platform.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into the development lifecycle.
- Improve developer experience by providing intuitive, scalable, and reliable testing solutions.
- Lead with empathy and inclusion , fostering a culture where team members feel supported, challenged, and valued .
- Balance technical innovation with practical execution , ensuring high-quality releases at speed.
People Leadership & Team Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering an environment of trust, psychological safety, and continuous learning.

Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Own the vision, strategy, and architecture for the automation platform.
- Evaluate and adopt cutting-edge automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and AI-driven testing approaches .
- Ensure the platform meets scalability, performance, and security requirements across all supported products.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand their testing needs and incorporate feedback into platform enhancements.
- Partner with product and leadership teams to align automation strategy with business goals .
- Foster cross-team collaboration to drive automation best practices across the organization.
Execution & Delivery
- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery of automation initiatives.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to measure automation adoption and effectiveness.
- Optimize test execution pipelines to reduce build times and improve reliability .
Process & Best Practices
- Champion best practices in test automation , including shift-left testing , self-service tooling, and efficient resource utilization.
- Implement governance policies to ensure high-quality test coverage and maintainability .
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in testing workflows and drive continuous improvement.
What You Need to Bring
- Proven experience leading test automation or developer productivity teams.
- Strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD, and cloud-based testing solutions.
- Ability to influence across teams and drive strategic initiatives at scale.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams, setting goals, and delivering high-impact projects .
