What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you have:
- 8+ years of client facing experience in digital media (publisher experience preferred)
- Ability to build and maintain outstanding relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- Track record of closing business and driving long and complex sales cycles
- Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data
- General understanding of contracts and negotiation
- Excellent people management skills and experience leading a team
- Ability to travel up to 20%
As a Publisher Account Director, you will:
- Lead a team of Account Managers to deliver excellent customer service and support multiple business initiatives for existing publisher partners
- Maintain high client engagement through regular communication, demonstrating your knowledge and expertise
- Identify growth opportunities, create strategic account plans, and eliminate business obstacles
- Track and analyze performance for book of business to ensure all accounts are meeting or exceeding sales plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, technical support) and leaders on projects to drive company growth
